Notes from the campaign creator:

1. This campaign is a reinforced Soviet Corp level campaign (440622-450507). In early 1944 the Soviet High Command created a number of cavalry-mechanized groups to be used during major offensives for exploiting breakthroughs over difficult ground (most notably during the 1944 summer offensive through the swampy southern flank). Normally cav-mech groups consisted of a combination of one cavalry corps and one mechanized corps. To keep things manageable I have included only one cavalry division with the mech corps but the "feel" should still be close to that of the original group.

2. I have set the campaign to occur in the "Southern Front" area of operations.

3. Order of Battle for 3rd Cav-Mech Group:

    32nd Guards Cavalry Division
    93rd Guards Mech Bde
    37th Guards Mech Bde
    73rd Guards Mech Bde
    63rd Guards Tank Bde
    65th Mortar Regiment (120mm)
    60th Light AAA Regiment
    70th Guards Rocket Battalion (132mm)
    32nd Recon Battalion
    78th Engineer Battalion
    30th Cannon Regiment (122mm)
    23rd Heavy Cannon Regiment (152mm)
