BIBURG.TXT

This is a scenario for HPS Simulations "Broken Alliance." BIBURG.ZIP
should contain OK.SCN, OK.M, OK.MAP and BIRBURG.TXT (this file).
Copy OK.SCN, OK.M, and OK.MAP into your BA directory. If you already have
scenario or map files with these names, rename all OK.* to something you
don't have. Use the typical HPS filename system in accordance with the
manual. You must then use HPSEDIT to rename the map file name inside the
SCN file to the new filename. If you don't do this, the scenario will
load the incorrect map.

This scenario, a hasty defense by a reinforced US Infantry battalion is
designed for solitaire play as the US, although it will also be interesting
as a two player battle. Unlike scenarios when the player is the attacker,
there are less decisions to be made during the initial few turns of the
battle. Sometimes I just don't feel like inputting movement orders for a
lot of units. Instead, careful initial placement of units, LP/OPs, PPD's
will determine the initial conduct of the engagement. And although this
may turn out to be pretty grim, the timely arrival and your deployment of
the reinforcements will determine the final outcome of the battle.

HPSEDIT and my other scenarios and additional maps are available on Compuserve
