OVERVIEW: The AGM-12C Bullpup B, aka ASM-N-7b is a command-guided, liquid fuel, air-to-surface missile with a 1000 lb warhead.

DETAILS: The AGM-12B Bullpup B is an early command-guided standoff missile. After visual identification of a target the missile is launched and guided to the target using a joystick in the launching aircraft. Two small flares in the tail section of the missile assist the pilot in maintaining visual contact with the missile during flight.
This command guidance system required the aircraft, the missile, and the target essentially had to remain in a straight line during guidance, making the aircraft vulnerable to ground fire.
