OVERVIEW: The AS-10 KAREN (Kh-25L) is a supersonic, short-range, air-launched, solid-fuel, semi-active laser-guided missile.  It has two warheads totaling 136 kg HE warhead with an proximity fuze.

DETAILS: The AS-10 is launched at targets illuminated either by the airborne or ground-based illuminators.  Accuracy is reportedly 6 meters CEP.

NOTES: The AS-12 became operational in 1975.  It was used by the MiG-23BN, MiG-27 and Su-17M.
