OVERVIEW: The RAN-10S aka MM/SPS–774 is a mobile, 3-D medium-range air/surface surveillance and acquisition radar operating in the F (NATO) "S" (IEEE) band.  

DETAILS: Designed for use onboard medium and small sized  warships, the radar is modified for use as a mobile land based system. Typical operating roles include air warning against aircraft and missiles, direction for both fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft, surface surveillance, navigation and direction of surface-to-surface missiles. The radar is optimized for target designation to guns and/or surface-to-air-missile weapon control systems. 

The RAN-10 is sweep-to-sweep frequency agility and phase-modulated pulse burst to cope with clutter and jamming.
