OVERVIEW: The EL/M-2080 Green Pine radar is a transportable, ground-based, long range, phased array search, tracking and fire control missile-defense radar, operating in the NATO "D" band (IEEE "L" band).

DETAILS: Green Pine is an active electronically scanned array (AESA) solid state radar. Green Pine reportedly operates in search, detection, tracking, and missile guidance modes simultaneously, and is capable of detecting targets at ranges of up to about 500 km (310 mi), and is able to track more than 30 targets at speeds over 3,000 m/s

Specifications:

Frequency 1.215-1.4 GHz (D band (NATO), L Band (IEEE))
Power output: unknown (average); unknown (peak)
PRF: unkn pps
Range Resolution: 4 meters
On/Off time: unknown min.
