OVERVIEW: The AN/TPQ-36A is a mobile, 3-D, Low Altitude Surveillance radar operating in the I Band.

DETAILS:  The AN/TPQ-36A radar is a pulse Doppler system.  It is typically trailer mounted and towed by a 4x4 truck. It is capable of tracking up to 60 targets. Weapon systems associated with the AN/TPQ-36A include the NASAMS and NOAH SAM-missile.
