OVERVIEW: The Kolchuga (Chainmail) is a mobile, long range passive ESM system hat uses two or more receivers to locate emitters via triangulation and can receive in the A-J bands.

DETAILS: The Kolchuga is a passive, long range direction finding ESM receiver system, providing identification, early warning and location RF emitters. A Kolchuga unit normally consists of three Kolchuga stations and a command vehicle to provide accurate target triangulation. A three station system can detect targets along 1,000 km and to a range of 600 km. It can track up to 32 concurrent targets.
