OVERVIEW: The ITT Gilfillan Series 320 is a fixed or mobile, long range, 3-D air defense radar operating in the E/F Band.

DETAILS: The Series 320 uses a planar-array antenna with frequency steered pencil beam groups to electronically scan in elevation. The system is highly automated. ECCM
capabilities include frequency agility, jammer frequency analysis, jam-strobe reports and silent sector operations, low sidelober and Constant False Alarm Rate (CFAR). Remote monitoring is possible.

Specifications:

Frequency: 2.9-3.1 GHz (E/F Band (NATO), S Band (IEEE))
Power output: 20 kW(average); 1.1 MW (peak)
PRF: variable
Range Accuracy: 18 m (range), 0.16 degrees azimuth
On/Off time: unknown
Deploy/Stow Time 360 minutes/ minutes

Detection Range (Pd<50%, 2m2 target):	556 km

NOTES: The Series 320 is based on the Plessey AR-3D. A reduced 370 km range version using a peak power of only 150 kW is also available.
