OVERVIEW: The MGK-608E CLUSTER LANCE fixed, passive bottom array sonar system designed for surveillance of surface and underwater targets.

DETAILS: The MGK-608E is a series of linear phased array antennas (PAR) installed on the seabed.

The MGK-608 provides hydroacoustic detection, classification, identification and tracking and surveillance of underwater and surface vessels. The array can be deployed as far as 200km from the shore, and up to 1000m deep water. An 8 sensor array is capable of surveiling a 1000 square kilometer area for targets between 0.05-0.1 pascals.

Specifications:

	Probablity of Detection 0.9
	Range Error 1.2-2 km
	Speed Error 2%
	Course Error 6 degrees
