OVERVIEW: The CHEESE BOARD (96L6) is a mobile, 3D "all altitude" early-warning and acquisition phased arrary radar operating in C-Band.

DETAILS:    The CHEESE BOARD (96L6E) is a  frequency hopping design intended to provide high jam resistance and high clutter rejection.  It can track up to 100 tracks automatically, and is capable against airbreathing targets, stealth aircraft and missiles.

It is associated with the SA-10 Grumble (S-300) and SA-21 Growler (S-400) theatre defence missile systems.
