OVERVIEW: The Laksamana Hang Nadim FFL is four-shaft, diesel-powered, missile corvette. 

DETAILS: The Laksamana Hang Nadim FFL is a multi-mission patrol craft. For its primary mission of ASUW, the vessel is armed with 6X1 Otomat II SSMs and a 76mm/62 Oto Melara main gun and secondary battery of a twin 40mm/L70 Oto Melara. The anti-air amament consists of an 1 x 4 Albatros/Aspide launcher. The ASW weapons suit is made up of 2X3 324mm torpedo tubes. For ECM 2x Breda 105mm 6-tybed decoy launchers and a TQN-2 jammer.

The sensors suite includes the  D and I band RAN12L/X Air and surface search radar and a I-band KH 1007 navigation radar. Fire control radars are RTN-10X. The sonar is a ASO84-41 active hull-mounted sonar. ESM capability is from the INS-3B ESM system.
 
There is a crane to launch the small RHIB (Rigid-Hulled Inflatable Boat).

NOTES: IOC 1997. Class is a modified Assad-class, completed in 1987 for Iraq but never delivered due to UN sanctions. Refitted in 1996 and sold to Malaysia. Upgraded in 2003/2004 with new CMS (IPN) including Link-Y and TQN-5 & Nettuno 1400 ECM suite. The TT are later removed, confirmed by images.
