OVERVIEW: The SVERDLOV-class CL (Project 68A) is a steam-powered light cruiser.

DETAILS:   An all-gun vessel, the SVERDLOV class CL was the last all-gun cruiser in commission by any navy.  The Project 68A modification refitted four hulls with an enlarged bridge wing and the removal of four 2X37 mm and of eight 30 mm AK-230 mounts, along with the associated DRUM TILT radar.
