OVERVIEW: The Netzahualcóyotl (ex-Gearing FRAM 1-class) is a steam-powered, 2-shaft Destroyer. 

DETAILS: While primarily used in interdicting drug cartel operations and training Mexican Navy cadets, the Netzahualcóyotl retained its ASROC launchers and  helipad, giving it an ASW capability. It can also act as a radar picket using its long-range air search radar. Its two 5/38 guns also gives it a limited ASUW and shore bombardment capability.
