OVERVIEW: The Spike NLOS (Non Line of Sight) aka "Tamuz" is a solid fuel, "fire and forget" anti-vehicle/ground attack missile using a dual-mode electro-optical (EO)/infrared (IR) seeker. It can be equipped with a variety of warheads.

DETAILS: The Spike NLOS gives the gunner the ability to attack targets at stand-off range with no line of sight. It can be operated in either direct attack mode or midcourse navigation mode based on target coordinates, providing the capability to engage targets at stand-off range with no line of sight. Its dual mode seeker allows for target engagement in reduced visibility or night conditions. The Spike-NLOS TV camera and datalink allow the operator to select a wide-angle view during its flight, giving the missile a limited reconnaissance capability. The TV guidance and datalink also provides a "Lock-On After Launch" (LOAL) aka Fire-and-Observe capability, giving the operator the ability to maneuver, retarget or even abort the missile in flight. The system can also tie into a C3 network, utilizing data from other sources such as counterbattery radars and drones to direct the missile to its target.

Spike NLOS can use a variety of warheads especially suited to urban and high intensity conflict, including fragmentation, HEAT, PBF and PBF/F.
