OVERVIEW: The AIM-9JULI Sidewinder is a short-range, supersonic, infra-red guided (IR) air-to-air missile with a 4.5 kilogram warhead.   

DETAILS: The AIM-9JULI combines the AIM-9L's all aspect seeker and guidance system with the control/servo and airframe of the AIM-9J/N/P, providing a missile with similar capablities of the -9L at a lower price.  The AIM-9JULI is all-aspect capable.
