OVERVIEW: The AGM-130E is a rocket powered, command- and EO guided, air-to-surface missile with a 906 kg warhead penetrating warhead.

DETAILS: The AGM-130E is a powered air-to-surface missile designed for high- and low-altitude strikes at standoff ranges against highly
defended hard targets. The weapon uses the same TV or IIR seeker and command datalink used in the GBU-15 glide bomb. This provides the launch aircraft a visual presentation of the target as seen from the weapon.

The seeker can be either locked onto the target before or after launch for automatic weapon guidance, or it can be manually steered by a weapon systems officer. Manual steering is performed through the two-way data link.

Unlike the AGM-130A or C versions, the E version uses a BLU-116/B advanced penetrator warhead, with approximately twice the penetration capability of the BLU-109.

The AGM-130 is designed for use in the F-4, F-15, F-111, A-10 and possibly F-16 aircraft.
