OVERVIEW:  The MM.40 Exocet Block II missile is a turbojet powered, high sub-sonic, surface-launched, medium-range, radar homing, anti-ship missile, equipped with a 155 kg warhead.

DETAILS:  After launch, the MM.40 Block II Exocet uses a hybrid GPS/inertial navigation system for midcourse guidance. This guidance system allows for programing multiple 3D way points.  For the terminal phase, the missile uses a  J-band (10-20 Ghz) active radar that provides improved ECCM performance and target selection based on size. The missile is capable of operating in up to Sea State 7 weather conditions.
