OVERVIEW: The AS-15 KENT C (Kh-555) is an air-launched, turbo-fan powered, sub-sonic, solid fuel cruise missile.  It carries a 410 kg warhead.

DETAILS: The AS-15 KENT C can be launched from both high and low altitudes.  On launch, the AS-15 KENT B descends to 40-110 meters cruise altitude and navigates to its target using inertial mid-course guidance and TERCOM navigation.  It may use an electro-optical terminal seeker.  The KENT C features a reduced radar cross-section and improved accuracy.   

NOTES: The AS-15 KENT C was used by the Tu-95MS, Tu-160, and Su-34 aircraft.
