OVERVIEW: The Altius 600 is an air-launched, lightweight, multi-role UAV designed for ISR, EW, SIGINT, and loitering munition applications. It enables distributed airborne operations from manned and unmanned platforms across multiple domains.

DETAILS: The Altius 600 (Agile-Launched, Tactically-Integrated Unmanned System) is produced by Area-I, a subsidiary of Anduril Industries. It is a tube-launched, autonomous UAV with a wingspan of approximately 2.54 m, maximum weight around 12.25 kg, and modular payload capacity of 3.17 kg. It can be launched from aircraft, helicopters, ground vehicles, and ships using Pneumatically Integrated Launch Systems (PILS) or Common Launch Tubes (CLTs). Typical payloads include EO/IR sensors, jammers, SIGINT receivers, or small kinetic warheads. The system supports autonomous navigation and mesh-networked swarming with tactical datalink integration.

FUNCTION: After launch, the Altius 600 deploys wings and transitions to powered flight to conduct surveillance, signal collection, jamming, or strike missions. It provides persistent targeting, relay, or interdiction capability in contested or denied environments.
