This little scenario pack comes with the scenario files (unzip to "Scen" folder) and an additional ZIP file named "Radio Com Messages italy 44.zip". This additional file holds password secured "orders" text files, that are optional for the scenario to play. These "orders" may be intelligence reports from HQ, and/or tasks to accomplish certain minor missions in the battle.
(..off course you also can play the scenario completely without this "orders" system)

If you want to give this (experimental) orders system a try, this is how it works:

First unzip the "Radio Com Messages italy 44.zip" file to the windows desktop or a new folder of your choice. Now open this "Radio Com Messages italy 44.zip" file and youll find additional ZIPs named M1-M3. These zips are as said password secured with the WINZIP password option. Dont try opening them yet as youll get the passwords during the course of the game later.

Leave the WINZIP window open on the desktop (with M1-M3 visible). Start up SPWAW and scenario "After Cassino 44". (!!!UK Human played!!!).

From time to time youll receive radio messages from higher HQ informing you of new orders or intelligence reports. Youll see them appearing in the hex besides your "communications post" (CP), so take care you dont miss them. The CP (unit AF0) appears on turn2 at the marked hex on the map. These "messages" are in fact "german" dummy units and their names tell you the "passwords" for the appropriate Text files in the "Radio Com Messages Italy44" ZIP. Once you "received" the message (in fact the codes), you may destroy the "dummy", its not any danger to your own units though. Expect the next message(s) appearing in exactly the SAME hex at given time later. Remember: Read First..then shoot!

In order to switch between SPWAW and the WINZIP window, I would recommend to use the ALT-TAB short cut.

have fun
