This is modified Scenario 1. Grand Campaign beginning at 7th December 1941. MOD takes care of Japan Shaped Charge technology import, from Germany, in mid-1942, introduction of TYPE 97 20mm AT Rifle, for Pacific/Burma-front units, and equipping Paratroops with TYPE 100 SMGs. Also it includes San-Shiki, Anti-Aircraft ammunition for large Naval Guns (although in most cases introduce it earlier, than in history, because ships upgrades came far too late, to include it in upgrades). Completely historical numbers, and experience for pilots of all branches, including future training. WARNING! Pilot numbers are now much lower, until 1943! Some ground guns are slightly modified, to include their difference in muzzle velocity, and later shaped charge ammunition. Only few naval guns are modified to Dual-Purpose, as most had this ability in-game anyway. The main difference will be slightly better Soft Attack, which should help with bombardments. All modification are implemented according to this calculations, based on number of fragments, and difference in size of projectile: 460mm 341 406mm 303 36cm 200 203mm 64 20cm Short 24 15cm 23 14cm 19 127mm 16 Devices in range 1654-1673 (Naval Guns), are all changed, except: Device 1668 12.7cm/50 3YT T. A. (it is chnged in ship upgrades in early 1942 anyway) Device 1658 have name changed to 20cm/50 3YT Gun std, same statistics. It is used in primary versions of: class 1122 Takao, and ships: 069 Takao 070 Atago 072 Chokai class 1138 Mogami, and ship 077 Mogami class 1806 Akagi, and ship 017 Akagi class 1811 Kaga, and ship 002 Kaga Those ships, before upgrade, are identical to stock. Later they get Guns modified for San-Shiki (well, Carriers lose large guns during upgrade). Also, to keep, with common House-Rule for no-4E-Naval-Attack-below-10k feet: Device 1682 25mm MG ceiling increased to 9843 Device 1683 13.2mm MG ceiling increased to 13060 Device 1684 12cm Rocket ceiling increased to 4000 MOD, in greater, or lesser way address several game problems: Lots of burned Armament Points in early 1943. So that should force Japan player to keep Armament production, and use more HI. Reason, for both sides, to push into ending/not ending the war at historical date. At 9/45 things will get tough for Allied armour, of course if Japan hoarded enough Armament Production. IJA squad becomes larger. That means Division will need more transport capacity (over 1500 extra men), and will use more supply (again, more transports needed). All Japan squads get upgrade at 1942/1943. That will allow them remain competitive for a longer time, and inflict more loses to Allies (especially in disabled devices), so overall tempo of operations will be slower. Stronger AT strength, will result in slightly more destroyed Allied tanks, and MUCH MORE disabled. Again, slower tempo. SNLF squads are smaller (and early version is also weaker). If you are seeking garrison for your small island, SNLF units are your first choice. Paratroopers are MUCH stronger. They should easily dispatch lone base force. Allies have now real need for using all those small battalions for protecting LOC. Device 1006 (Cdo/Para Section) copied to slot 1122, and changed into: Commando Team HA75->25 SA24->16 W11->4, with upgrade to 1122, and 0 production. To allow it to be the only Infantry Unit capable to load into standard submarine (not SST type, which conversion is possible only since 4/42) Implemented changes: device name AT attack soft attack weight date of production upgrade 707 IJA Infantry Squad 5 20 17 4112-4212 710 709 IJA Infantry S.Sqd 13 23 21 4112-4212 710 710 IJA Infantry Sqd 43 20 25 21 4301 703 703 IJA Infantry Sqd 45 45 28 20 4509 - 712 SNLF Squad 7 18 10 4112-4208 716 716 SNLF Squad 42 12 22 11 4209 717 717 SNLF Squad 45 45 25 12 4506 - 706 IJA Para Squad 25 30 20 4112-4209 708 714 IJN SNLF Para Squad 7 25 18 4112-4209 708 708 IJ Raider Squad 35 41 20 4210 702 702 IJ Special Squad 45 50 20 4411 - 704 IJA Motorized Squad 5 21 17 4112-4212 705 705 IJA Motor Sqd 43 11 23 17 4301 - 701 IJA Cavalry Squad 13 20 16 4112 - 711 IJA Engineer Squad 25 34 18 4112-4212 700 700 IJA Engineer Sqd 43 35 40 18 4301 - 745 70mm T92 Howitzer 4112-4312 718 718 70mm T92 Howit HEAT penetration 75 4401 746 75mm Infantry Gun 30 4112-4211 719 719 75mm Inf Gun HEAT 30 penetration 80 4212 747 75mm T94 Mtn Gun 25 748 75mm T95 Field Gun 35 749 75mm T38 Field Gun 36 750 75mm T90 Field Gun 48 756 15cm T89 Gun range 22 1440 75mm T90 Field Gun 48 1424 75mm T41 Mtn Gun 30 1436 75mm T41 Mtn Gun 30 1437 75mm T38 Field Gun 36 1439 75mm T94 Mtn Gun 25 1006 Commando Team 25 16 4 4112-4208 1122 1101 USA Rifle squad 10 1113 USMC Rifle squad 10 1122 previous Cdo/Para Squad Additional bug fixes: Singapore port damage is now 0 996 KNIL Rifle Squad 45 upgrade to itself There are two additional historical pilots: 6739 1st Lieutenant Uta - commander of 1st Hikotai IMAF, also as leader in slot 20126 6740 2nd Lieutenant Sono-o Kasuga - first Manchukuo pilot, who succesfully rammed B-29. Armament, and capacity is made more historical (Maru-Yu, and D1), there are all Maru-Yu present (slots 7920-), and they arrives at historical locations. Army ships are now belong to IJA. Yes, you will choose Army Leaders for them.
