artillery range "bug"?

I'm new to the game.
When an artillery unit is selected (under move mode", all enemy units within its range will be marked with a red target mark on the map. Somehow, long range artillery, e.g. German 170mm or US 240mm guns will show the red target cycle on enemy units in range normally, but when ...

Can you share what is the battle/campaign of DC5 yet?
I would hope a game has the same operational level as DC.AO with 1km hex and battalion level units and a large map at least the same size of Plan Martin. :D

Re: Suggestion wish list

The current game is already great. We all hope it will become even greater.
I'd like to have a better organized OOB and HQ Command structure.
As I’m still relatively new to the game. If I missed something that already in the current build, could someone point it out for me please?
Currently there ...

Re: Dev Log: Monty's Front--OVERLORD

thanks, really looking forward to Overlord and Market garden. I like Napoleon area military history, but never acutally played a real war game for that period, apart from Total War: Empire and Total War: Napolean. So I'm curious to see how WEGO 1813 will look like.
Would the AI technology help in ...

Re: Dev Log: Monty's Front--OVERLORD

I was hoping after Monty's, next will be Bradley's Trilogy, then may be more Russian front, like Battle of Moscow?

Re: Poll: Bradley's Front Trilogy Game Sequence

talking hypothetical, may be we can add weather conditions that reduce the Allied air superiority, thus reduce interdiction on Axis supply, adding this one may be enough to "get there"

Re: Poll: Bradley's Front Trilogy Game Sequence

Do you think including Antwerp in a Bulge game is a bridge too far? Before you answer, how about this hypothetical? What if ALL the promised German divisions for Unternehmen Wacht Am Rhine had been provided (especially 11.Panzer Division and 17.SS Panzer Grenadier Divisions)? Is this worth ...

At 2500 meters per hex, that is map dimensions of 256 hexes by 192 hexes.

At 3200 meters per hex, this defines a map size of 200 hexes by 150 hexes.
I would hope for a 256x192 map!

thanks for the detailed explaination.
I really appreciate your hard work and taking the time to explain the concept so well.

Re: Dev Log: Monty's Front--OVERLORD

another question, from the pictures posted, I can see the allied beach supply hex is very close to the front line. Lets say, if, the Axis could capture one of the supply hex for 1 turn, or just "run through" it, is there any supply reward for that unit / organisation or stockpile?

PS, RE Editor, I ...

Re: Dev Log: Monty's Front--OVERLORD

Thanks! this is great!
Now I can link a few extra unit counter and pictures!
Mech.Eng Nato counter(exits, but seems not used)- small symbol a bit hard to see when zoomed out.
Mot.Eng Nato counter
Mech.AA Nato counter
experimentally added Hummel SP
I guess the new Normandy Campaign will have more ...

Re: Dev Log: Monty's Front--OVERLORD

Nice!
For now, I can only use photoshop to change existing pictures to moded ones, in order to change the equipment picture.
I was hoping the Editor will allow adding new pictures to link with existing NATO icons, a simple way to expand the equipment. :P

Re: Dev Log: Monty's Front--OVERLORD

thanks for the answer and explaination. That makes sense. Here is a picture for heavy Tank symbol, not really a NATO, I guess the word NATO is used when try to distinguish military symble vs a piture on unit counter. I also saw this in The Operational Art of War series (among with a few other "heavy ...

Re: Dev Log: Monty's Front--OVERLORD

sweet! can't wait.
I really hope there will be some army group sized scenarios that covers the whole campaign map. I know, there will be a lot of work.
In terms of the editor, is it possible to include editing of unit equipment data, eg, add different type of vehicles, to to add more NATO symbol ...

Re: Dev Log: Monty's Front--OVERLORD

Thanks! it will be even more awosme if the option is allowed for switching all 4 types of display on the unit counter during game play:
currently when zoomed in/on large unit counter, when the mouse pointer is not hovering over the unit counter, on the lower part of the unit counter, it displays ...
