RE: Been away for a while

Is there a limit or decreased effectiveness for multiple camps per province? It appears as though camps do not take up space in a province, is that accurate? Thanks in advance for answers.

RE: Been away for a while

It seems as though the way camps are handled has changed. Can someone please bring me up to speed on how reinforcements calculations are handled?

RE: Been away for a while

Most issues that I do have would be way to hard to change, most have to do with the map. However, one nice thing would be the ability to toggle off disease.

Been away for a while

<t> I quit playing the game shortly after purchasing the initial release, because the AI was way to weak. I logged in the other day to see how things have progressed. I downloaded the latest patch, loaded up coming fury and went at it. WOW, the AI is 150% better it really looks like the game has ...

RE: Your opinions; should I buy and why?

<t> Ask again after the next patch. I had to quit playing FOF because the strategic AI, IMHO is inadequate, although the tactical AI was fairly decent. I to am waiting for AGEOD it looks like they are benifitting from many of the comments made on this board and incorporating them into ...

RE: BoA or FL?

<t> I own both games. I have had BOA longer and i do enjoy the game. I have been playing FL for about a week and i love it as well. My personal opinion is that a hex based game is always beter than and area game. FL also provides more flexibility in recruiting and training your troops. I think you ...

RE: You guys win

<t> So far so good. It really took me about 1 hour to get all the basics down, still have not read the manual but did browse a couple of things. The interface is reasonably laid out and pretty easy to use. Currently in a 1775 campaign holding my own on middle level. Any ...

It is funny you mention the above Jonathan. My friend in Sweden often tells me that he has pissed in bathrooms older than my country. I have always found that amusing.

RE: SOME THANKS, PRAISE AND CRITICISM

SPAW? Acronyms are wasted on me most of the time. Do you really find the strategic AI challenging playing as the CSA? If so what are doing to make it so??

SOME THANKS, PRAISE AND CRITICISM

<t> First, I want to thank the WCS team for taking on such a tremendous task with a very diverse target audience, I know it is hard listening to some of the feedback you are recieving (it is hard to please everyone). Please understand if we did not like the game and effort we would just quit playing ...

RE: Strength of the Union army

Makes good sense and I guess I can see the logic. In short you are saying "who the heck wants to die for an unpopular war?" OK, I can definately buy that. Alex you should get a job explaining things to boneheads like me, your pretty good.

RE: Strength of the Union army

<t> Thanx Alex I can buy off on your explanation concerning consc, muster and built units, I still think that national will affecting quality is a reach. I think national will should effect disposition or even the time it takes to improve a units disposition but not quality. Thanks for your thoughts ...

RE: Strength of both armies

Hmm, I could have sworn my musters have caused unrest. I may have imagined that one. If that is the case, I will double check, then it is not a huge issue, although I would do away with the govenor penalty.

RE: Historical Scenario Corrections

<t> Erik as I have said before the (-) power settings effects rail and research. To get the economy where I want it I end up with negative wpns, rail and research. I have found it not a good way to balance out the economic diffs. Why not start historic and then modify with power to suit the player ...
