Re: windows 11 compatibility testing

Is there a way to play Forge of Freedom as 2-player over the internet?

RE: Ships lost when "alone in enemy territory"

I cannot be sure there was a runner in the sea area, since the replay flashed it by so quickly (PBEM game). And even if true I would consider it an error in the game.

RE: Ships lost when "alone in enemy territory"

<t> I am using 1.10.10. My fleet was lost when there were no Confederate ships in the region, but the PBEM flashed by so quickly it's possible a runner was in the area. But I still think it needs correcting if a runner can make a fleet organization (what is a fleet "wrapper" really anyway) disappear ...

Losing fleets and ships "alone in an enemy province"

<t> There is an error I think should be fixed. I lose river ships when the army they are supporting loses and retreats, because they are "alone in an enemy province" even though there is adjacent river that is neutral or friendly. I have also lost Yankee empty fleets sailing from Boston to the ocean ...

Ships lost when "alone in enemy territory"

<t> I think it's an error when I lose gunboats after the army they are assisting retreats because they lose the battle. I sometimes lose them as "alone in enemy territory" even though there is adjacent neutral or friendly river. I have also lost an empty fleet traveling from Boston to the Atlantic ...

RE: Opponent wanted- either side

Sounds like a good offer but I got two opponents off my posting and that's all I can handle due to time. Thanks anyway.

Opponent wanted- either side

Looking for my first non-AI opponent after beating the AI from both sides. I have 1.10.10. Is there a later version?

addendum Feb 2, 2009: Found 2 opponents, which is all I can handle. Thanks for the inquiries though.

RE: Manual Errors Report

<t> Manual errors:<br/>
p.98, section I.1.2. The section heading for "Good" command staff rating should be in bold. Do I get the award for smallest error noted?<br/>

p.161, section A.4.3 The first sentence in the Rail Supply section is, I believe, a fragment that runs into what should be ...

RE: BOA map

<t> Whoops, I made an error in my earlier post. The Kanawha River is shown correctly on the map, but the current city of Marietta is actually where the Muskingham runs into the Ohio River from the state of Ohio side. The Little Kanawha is not shown on the map, but runs into the Ohio River from WV at ...

RE: BOA map

<t> Since you are making a new version, could you please change the Ohio and West Virginia maps? The Gallipolis and Marietta areas would be more logically positioned 1 area north of where the map shows them; that way they would be where the cities with those names are now. Some confusion may be the ...
