Any PBEM activity

Hi,

I'm seriously thinking about buying this game next month but I'm curious if people still play this in MP or not?
Also is there no chance that this game gets some further support? I'm so sad since it looks so interesting for me...

RE: Thanks for the developers

I found the solution: my motherboards integrated gfx chip was not disabled, this causes the extreme slowdown. Now that I disabled it I get 70+ fps with vertical synch turned off.

RE: Thanks for the developers

<t> Btw, I started up the game and it is incredibly slow, especially on scrolling. <br/>
Single core mode does not work (maybe because I have XP), my computer is quite good: quad core 3.2ghz phenom, 4gb ram, 1gb video ram gfx card, etc.<br/>

I tried locking full screen in the configuration ...

Thanks for the developers

<t> Hi,<br/>
<br/>
I've just bought this game from Gamersgate where there is a sale of it. I like such style games and I hope I'll find my money well spent. <br/>
<br/>
I was reading the manual and found that in case of technical issues one can just drop an email to directly the developers, also ...

Yep, even though I have found matrix games and started playing these games after I finished high school, back then I was playing with paradox strategy games while my classmates with need for speed, sims and football simulators...

RE: 'Soviet bottleneck' or 'Fortress germany'

<t> Good idea. <br/>
Though I dont really notice the lack of (trained, experienced) manpower germany was suffering from in the late war period.<br/>
Also its virtually impossible to feed the soviet industry with resources. Even with the balkan region under my control I have only half of the ...

'Soviet bottleneck' or 'Fortress germany'

<t> Greetings,<br/>
I'm not a pro player, still mostly playing against the AI. Recently I'm using UV2.0 and I've tried the soviets only with this mod 2 times so far.<br/>
My problem is that I can easily push the germans back to east germany (in late '43, early '44) but can not take germany itself ...

<t> OK. Still nothing. No official response about the solution. Still the same problem.<br/>
I tend to agree with the thread starter that it is not a good way to make people buy the games.<br/>

Factories - ever a good investment?

<t> While playing a PBEM game I decided that with SU and the US I spend some of my early PPs to build some factories besides research and some units.<br/>
I did not really make any serious calculations about it, and so far never bothered with it, so I ask you is it ever a good investment to build a ...

RE: They don't want my money :-(((

I have the same problem, tried it with firefox, IE and avant browser a hundred times but still no success.
Its strange, since about a year ago I was able to purchase games from Matrix games without much trouble.

Question about production

<t> Greetings,<br/>
I'll be able to buy a game or two in a few days once I finally get my proper credit card. I have been checking these boards for a long time now as well as others (TOAW3 for example) and this game seems very interesting for me.<br/>
I understand from some previous posts that ...

RE: TOAW3 vs AT:WW2

<t> Of course it helps! Every comment is appreciated.<br/>
I've checked the AAR forum of TOAW and there are some monster scenarios covering the entire war (or entire eastern front).<br/>
My question is: how accurately can TOAW model such largescale operations? What's with production/reinforcements ...

TOAW3 vs AT:WW2

<t> Greetings,<br/>
I dont really know if the two titles are comparable or not, but since I'll finally get a proper credit card in a few days, I can buy a game or two for myself for Xmas:)<br/>
Anyway I wondering if I should go for Advanced Tactics: WW2 or TOAW3.<br/>
Any comments are welcome ...
