RE: Don't understand map color conventions.

Yea I see the desert hexes, but these are both clear hexes owned by France. I also see now that in Poland where I'm currently invading there are hexes that have turned axis color even though I haven't conquered them yet and are under polish control and multiple hexes from my front line.

I don't think I've ever used that button /function. I always move my units manually by choosing which I want to be active in the order I want them to do their thing.

Don't understand map color conventions.

<t> Hi all, having trouble understanding map color conventions. I have national colors off. Why is allied France on the European continent a different color than , say Algiers, and then 5ish hexes below Algiers, the color of a clear hex changes again? Why on the zoomed out map are Germany and allied ...

Remembering place in "next unit" line?

<t> When I use the next unit button and act on a unit, when I hit next unit again it goes back to the first unit again. I often don't move my units, especially my navy, it's full amount (at least I haven't in first turn) so after acting on next unit in queue I have to go through my entire army again ...

RE: Let's Play Decisive Campaigns: Barbarossa (Germany)

<t> Are you referring to the tutorial videos? I've seen those, but I want to see how someone who knows the game plays - if for any other reason than seeing their "work flow.". There are a bunch of people with let's play videos who are playing for first time but couldn't find any good ones. Why ...

Is there some reason these videos are private? Can anyone point me to some helpful videos on this game? I find it pretty overwhelming.

This seems a lot like SC2. How is it different?

I loved SC2 but don't really see much difference though I've only seen screenshots and read the summaries. Would someone mind explaining the differences? Thanks!

RE: Bug with Surprise March?

<r> Thanks for the quick reply! Actually I wasn't even originally linking up. At first I just put Hannibal alone in Latium and he was intercepted. So by "through", then do you mean "out of?" (because it doesn't work for "in to") <br/>

Bug with Surprise March?

<t> Perhaps I'm not understanding this card. I had Hannibal in Bruttium while Scipio was in Latium/Campania. I used Surprise March (because Hannibal was alone) to try to get him to link up with Mago in Latium/Campania but Scipio intervened every time. I had chosen Latium as my Surprise March place ...

When i saw the Holiday sale I immediately looked for this. It seems like it's one of the few that isn't on sale. :(

So where are all the user created scenarios?

<t> I've been watching this game with interest but have waited because I was concerned about replayability and waited to see if there was an interest in user created content. Based on the Mod forum, there doesn't seem to be much interest. Do you guys find the game is worth it without the addition of ...

RE: Replayability and price

<t> This discussion is definitely not useless. Matrix needs feedback on how their customers feel about their pricing. I am pretty much the exact target market for this game. I own roughly 8 of Matrix's games. Regarding Hannibal, I love the period, the gameplay, and have more than enough disposable ...

Replayability and price

<t> I just tried out the demo and have to wonder about the price especially given my concerns about replayability. For the same reason that designers chose not allow the player to play Rome, it seems there are only a few smart choices for Hannibal as well. While the cards may be different every time ...

RE: no PDF E-Book indexed manual

It's quickly dawning on me that the html rulebook doesn't include all the rules. With a game like this I want to know ALL the rules. I'm not paying more money for a rulebook. I don't need anything fancy. I'll take html if I have to, but I at least expect to be complete.

RE: no PDF E-Book indexed manual

Count me as another person who is extremely unhappy with no pdf instruction manual.&nbsp; You should compile at least an initial one and maintain a "changes to rules" sticky.

Need advice on making AT feel less like work and more like fun.

<t> Got the game a few weeks ago and haven't played in the past few days because, so far, it's seems a lot more like work than fun. Between figuring out how much supply everyone needs, keeping adequate staffing, figuring out how many trucks I need to keep my units motorized, and remembering who is ...
