RE: 1939 Scenario Victory Conditions

<t> AHA!! Due to my crazy progammin' skilz (haha) I was able to use the scenario editor to find out what is really going on with the 1939 scenario.<br/>
The Briefing is just plain wrong.<br/>

1939 Scenario Victory Conditions

<t> I was playing the 1939 scenario as the West and Russia, I had survived into March 1942 and thought the outcome was still in question.<br/>
Then to my surprise, Russia surrendered and I lost. I don't understand why Russia surrendered, according to what I read in the Briefing under Victory ...

cargo ships index out of range exception

<t> I was transfering units by Naval Cap, and accidently transfered some land units into a unit that had loaded Cargo ships in it. Then it wouldn't let me transfer anything out of it while the cargo ships were loaded. So I had to unload the cargo ships, transfer the extra land units out, then reload ...

RE: game with pairs on a large random 'sea' map

<r> Yeah, I figure that's the best way to learn - the theory is if I get flattened often enough by the masters then I'll pick up something useful along the way and eventually get better.&nbsp;<SM sm="fighting0056.gif">[sm=fighting0056.gif]</SM>&nbsp;I guess I did get spanked a little...<SM sm ...

RE: game with pairs on a large random 'sea' map

<t> hmmm... on further inspection of the map it looks like 1 and 3 are on the same island (it is a scrolling map, right?) drOlive and I already have a ladder game going, we don't need to share an island starting out this game. I'd rather have a map with us each on a separate island if possible.<br ...

RE: game with pairs on a large random 'sea' map

<t> Did drOlive send a game?&nbsp; To who?&nbsp; That map he posted? works for me.&nbsp; and the teams, to.&nbsp; I know Arditi who&nbsp;did&nbsp;beta testing on this&nbsp;game&nbsp;and probably has the most experience, but I have no idea about the rest of you (currently in a game with drOlive, not ...

RE: game with pairs on a large random 'sea' map

<t> yes, that map looks good.&nbsp; trying to get a good island map does seem hit-and-miss as to whether the land is split into small islands or clumped into a few big ones.&nbsp; unshrouded seems the only way to choose fair partners, i'm for recruiting one more and making three teams of 2.&nbsp; we ...

RE: game with pairs on a large random 'sea' map

I'll play.&nbsp; Never done teams before but I've played island maps (land 30-35%) with people's republic.&nbsp; I like shrouded too but you're right that would make it hard to keep it fair.
I'm up for it if you all are.

RE: What happened to my production??!!??

<r> Okay I have sent the file. I am using 1.10k and I just noticed in the 'People' section of the statistics it is showing a -75% production mod for Universals. That doesn't seem right to me, I'll open a previous turn to check if it was always there.<br/>

What happened to my production??!!??

<r> I am playing a random scenario with a friend, we more than 20 turns into the game and have just come into conflict (large map and Republic enabled slowed us down.) With 23 production cities my production has been really high, and steadily increasing as the game goes on. And then...<br/>

RE: Desire to Rotate through all Units

<t> Yes, a 'next unit' button would be very nice.&nbsp; I've been using the 'view units' button at the top and just scrolling down the list but that is a slow and tedious way to do it if you have to scroll through a lot of units.&nbsp; Hmm.... I guess a 'next unit' button would be slow also if it ...
