Narvik now what?

As Allies in a MP game, I went with the decision to captur Narvik and it actually worked out for me. But I am unsure what to do next. I kept the 2 SF units in Narvik for now, and the Germany Oslo corps initially showed up but then probably went back. Not sure if GE sent reinforcements to Norway, but ...

What I experienced was that the Germans simply bombed the Maginot line to dust with artillery and planes. So the French lines were now significantly longer. Yes I had AAA but not for the first 2 turns he bombed the Maginot, and I'm not keen on relying on house rules for much, I prefer the ...

How did the Armor get so far into Greece in 1 turn is what I am concerned about. The only thing I can think of is you moved all the Greek forces back and let the Axis get the two towns on the border.

It’s a video game and if there is no balance it isn’t entertaining. It’s your mod so you decide whatever makes sense to you and I respect the time and effort you put into this. I preferred 1.3 for sure as I don’t think subs should play a major role in this game. I guess I prefer the original game ...

Hi guys - playing 1.3 and I concur it is too easy for Germany to knock out Malta. It is pretty much guaranteed if the Axis commits their air assets and RN can't do a thing about it. I have done it PvP by August and twice vs AI and even earlier.

Yes I did look at OCB’s video and I get it now re. Malta. However why didn’t you take any action to defend Malta? Why would you not risk attacking the Italians with the RN? I get that all of the Luftwaffe is there to strike back but couldn’t you hit his blockading ...

I played the Confederacy a few times, both PvP and vs AI and this is my take:

First you need to make some major strategic decisions that’ll decide how you play out the war.

1. Naval or no naval focus?
2. Do you want to secure European intervention?

Both of these will greatly guide your decisions ...

Flipping provides the Axis with the Norwegian forces. Not sure what units Norway will field but curious about the math if I calculate what forces I could gain vs the diplo cost for flipping vs the 200 mpp cost for the event.

How to use auxiliary and support units?

As a novice axis player I usually only invest in tech and upgrades for panzers and beef up armies, FJ, SF and Inf corps. I rarely build use any kind of artillery, trains, rockets, AT or aa units nor do I upgrade AA capabilities.

How does experienced players use these units, I am sure I’m missing ...

Flipping Norway worth it?

In Mp games where the Allies are pummelling the Norway convoys, does it make sense to pour 150-250 mpp into diplo and have Oslo become friends of the Furhrer?

Is this done regularly and if so what’s the typical timing to have Norway join the Axis?
