RE: 3 Rifle brig into Rifle div

Do they all have MPs left? Can you post a screen shot of the unit dialog box (over on the right). So that all three brigades are showing. It would help

RE: 3 Rifle brig into Rifle div

You have to make sure they are straight rifle brigades, not cadet, naval, ski, or some other named type of brigade.

Just back from vacation. Unzipped the file and copied it into the directory with no problem. I do have windows 7.

RE: Repairing Railroads

<t> Remember that the FBD units have to be within so many hexes of the railheads. Also, to repair a hex, you need to click on the FBD unit. You will see two values...an RRV value and a RRC value. Click on the RRC and you will repair the hex if the hex is repairable (due to the distance to the neares...

RE: Game Suggestions:

Any thought to adding factories captured/destroyed to the casualty list? Or to a separate listing? Or to the commander's report? Would be handy to know how many Factories have been eliminated and won't be there to arm future units.

Andy, modified the scenario file for an earlier start time, but nothing else really. Tried reloading the game via the disks I got and will see how that works out.

NIR Bug?

<t> I have started 3 historical scenarios for Borodino. In each case, at 0600 or 0615 (I actually start the scenarios at 0500, at dusk) when the program goes from the French Melee Phase to the Russian Movement Phase, I get an error message that says the program has stopped working...anyone have a so...

RE: SUGGESTION ON MORALE

Oh I whole heartedly agree...If I start 1942 with both Leningrad, Moscow, the Finns are released, and the casualties are within some predetermined standard, I believe the "national morale" should be better than historical values.

This would definitely enhance the game!

<t> Of course not historical....Leningrad was partially surrounded for some 900 days...But I always go after Leningrad, throwing every resource into the battle...Frees up the Finns, Allows you to shorten the lines. and allows you to put more Germans in the front lines vs allies come winter. <br/> <b...

Also, I think there was a bug in the earlier versions where it was 19 MP's, not 20. They have fixed that in the latest version (1.04.39).

<t> Click on the "Supply Details" for the HQ Unit. It is found right under the "Supply/Need; Fuel/Need; Ammo/Need; Support/Need graphic. Once you are in the Supply Details, check both the "Hex to Rail" and "MP to Rail" Fields. You have to be within 20 Movement Points of the railhead to be able to do...

<t> Make darn sure you press that shift key down though...and also choose which unit you want to airdrop supplies to...in case there is more than one division in a hex. You can choose which aircraft fly, what supplies drop, and what units get them. After a while you will get the hang of it.<br/> <br...

RE: Still don't think the Blizzard Bug has been fixed

<t> Joel, does this apply to the non-random weather as well? If so, then the table in the manual (as well as section 22.2) should be updated as the non-random table still shows snow in December and February in the Europe section and section 22,2 does not mention the missing rule.<br/> <br/> Thanks. ...

Still don't think the Blizzard Bug has been fixed

<t> OK...I read the readme file for version V1.04.28 – June 8, 2011 where #5) said: "Fixed bugs with weather where blizzard was happening in areas that shouldn’t have blizzard." Well, I got home from the hospital after quintuple bypass surgery a couple of weeks ago...and was real happy that this bug...

Don't stay away too long. You definitiely have my permission to use the town size files! I have found a few minor errors (more alignment between individual TGA files than anything else). Let me know if I should change those and who to send them to!
