Re: Map Creation

Outside of Muncheberg, an old horse runs.

It will be interesting to see if I can mimic the early IR apparatus impact in the data.

Re: Map Creation

This is a time-consuming process, but the tools in the editor have been great to use (after mapping Combat Mission maps for years in that editor, anyway). If I could do it again, I'd start with a 512x512 map., but now I've started and there's no going back.

That's quite a ringing endorsement ...

RE: Campaign Series Vietnam - Release Date

<t> Talking about weird glitches... It's been a while (running Windows 10) that I have observed some curious behavior when the units movement animations are played at zoom level 1 (the closest 3D view). If the animation speed setting is left to the "medium" setting (that's right in the middle), long ...

Thanks for the answers guys, looking forward to figure it out myself.

I have been following the CS Legion blog posts for years, and I really enjoyed CSME. So I am excited to see how all that research translates into a game :)

RE: AAR By The Belt-LZ Albany Big Ivan as USA (No peeking Crossroads)

Is there an option for having on map counters for old contacts that are no longer being spotted? That could be useful, otherwise the new system may feel like playing a hard game of "Memory".

What were the insights on the new FOW mechanics during playtesting?

Wouldn't be just a matter to changing the mapping between "unit size" and "stacking points" from a hardcoded parameter to something that is part of the scenario data?

Thanks for the sneak peek John, much appreciated.

That looks like a 2.5km/hex scale, is that correct?

If you are looking for playtesters, let me know. Happy to send some feedback to you guys.

Not there yet. Re-tooling the game while farming is not ideal. Onwards!

I wish you a good harvest then, and will keep checking on from time to time.
