Blown bridges and a major defeat

<t> Sorry if this doesn't make any sense...<br/>
<br/>
But I've just lost my first attempt at the Grand Campaign in a Major defeat on day 2, yet I'm not sure why. I captured some bridges and some were blown, I forget which. So I was doing okay I thought, but not great.<br/>

<t> On the first map of the grand campaing (I think) it took me 5 minutes to get my lead tank over the bridge...5 minutes of trying to stop it from taking rediculous routes and constant "can't go there" reports...arrrgggghhh. The only way I could get it over te bridge was by about setting about 30 ...

Armour pathfinding...

<t> Oh dear oh dear. After playing for a few hours and really enjoying it, apart from the odd niggle, I've just played my first map containing armour. Either the pathfinding has got worse since the original CC2, or I 'd just forgotten how terrible it was in the original.<br/>

RE: Sorry, long-term fan who's had enough

I wasreally thinking about getting this as&nbsp;I loved the original CC2, but by the sound of it it's just a reissue of a 10 year old game. I haven't seen anything to convince me otherwise.

Oh man. The original is one of my fave games of all time. Just need to know how this improves on the original as I stopped playing CC about 4 releases ago.

For me, the point of this game is not just about getting a win at any cost. It's actually about playing the scenarios over and over just to see how the battle can be ...

<t> I have the same problem with CotA(haven't got BftB yet). I look at a map and have no idea where to start, especially with missions when you have to delay an attack for a period of time before exitting. Should I order my infantry battalion to defend that town? What should I do with my armour ...

<t> At the end of the the day this is a PC game, so it will be measured again other PC games. In that respect it is way overpriced, especially when you compare it how Steam operates. I mean you don't even get a permanent on-line copy.<br/>
