RE: Austrailian troops

<t> The biggest game changer I have found in Burma is to spend the political points to activate 2 US divisions or 1 Division and a couple of Brigades and send those units to Aden and then into Burma. It is a lot of PPs, but they pack a considerable punch as compared to most units operating in the ...

RE: DAbigBabes : seeking suggestions for ASW

Does setting an ASW task force to computer-controlled with a max reaction of 6 help at all? If strung out along convoy routes?

I don't seem to get much traction with human controlled ones, and continually tweaking patrol zones is a pain.. yes, I should probably do it....

RE: Torpedoes on bases

For sub and float plane tenders I wish there was an "auto-load tender when empty" option. That would come in handy at forward bases like Wake Island.

RE: Killing off a surrounded but superior Army... (no tk208 plz)

<t> I have sort of the same situation with a large Japanese army I have surrounded in Canton, but can not muster more than 1-1. I figure eventually I will attrition the forces enough that the pocket collapses (The look out Hong Kong!) but the lack of Chinese combat engineers to reduce fortifications ...

Even Germany is not as "German" as outsiders (especially North Americans) think. Go drinking in Bavaria and after enough beer you'll start to hear "Ich nicht Deutsche, Ich bin Bavarisch!"

Question for Allied Players

<t> As the war progresses, do you continue to operate Pacific Areas out of Pearl Harbor, or do you move the bulk of your forces West? There are a couple of islands west of the Gilberts with unlimited ground unit stacking, but the ports can't be raised above 4 or 5. I decided to stage the majority of ...

If you ever find yourself near Tulsa, OK it is worth the trip down to Muskogee, OK (As in "Proud to be an Okie from Muskogee") to visit the USS Batfish War Memorial Park. The centerpiece is a Balao class submarine launched in 1943.

<t> Also, keep a close eye on your own level of disruption and don't attack him (other than bombardment) when your units are seriously disrupted. That's a heck of an army to have pinned down and you don't want to let him break out. Remember the four F's of infantry combat:<br/>
