I am new to the game, so I was wondering which scenario is a good starter scenario, either in the base game or in the DLC? I am looking for something that can help me get an understanding of how the game works. Or maybe it is best just to jump in at the deep end with the grand campaign?

So I picked up Sea Power and I just wanted to share my thoughts, since I have a lot of hours in CMO.

First of all, the graphics are awesome. Hats off to the designers, they really did a great job in a getting those 3D models in the game. I will open a scenario just to look at the units. Seeing ...

Good point. It is just a shame that they don't build in a bit more advanced trigger when it seems relatively easy.

The pass score is a bit frustrating, especially since you will learn from the first play through and anticipate quite a lot of the action.

I am really enjoying playing the Falklands DLC, but I find that some of the scenarios are cut a bit short, because I rapidly reach a scoring threshold. If it is intentional then I think that the scenarios should be allowed to run at minimum xxx hours so that scenarios dont end abruptly early on ...

Thanks for a great game. I am really enjoying it. I was wondering whether it was possible to tilt the map when generating a mission so that it isnt always a battle going East - West? I would like to sometimes have a battle that goes North South or North West - South East so that I can follow a ...

Maybe it is because the changes in the minimum ranges of ballistic missiles. In the first mission i think that the submarine cannot fire on the target due to being to close when in the launch zone

Quick question, that maybe a bit stupid, but I just wanted to know whether the game functions with the different levels of troop quality? I.e. can you designate a unit to be of higher or lower quality which would then impact it's performance in for instance rate of fire / accuracy / morale etc ...

Great to see that a Map and a Mod folder is now in place. Could we also have a Scenario folder? I suspect that many people would appreciate scenarios made by the community (especially by the more experienced players).

I really enjoy the Baltic as a location. Nice balance between sea and land, with plenty of different types of force structures close (Swedes, Finns, Norwegians, Danes, Poles, Germans, Russians etc etc) ... also an area with tonnes of traffic that should complicate things.

Flashpoint is still my favourite game for modern(ish) land combat on a battalion plus scale. The command cycle set up is such a game changer compared to other games out there. I also enjoy stuff like Armored Brigade or Combat Mission.. but Flashpoint is still my go to game for a game ...

and also a future Northern Storm with the Brits, Dutch, Danes and Poles!

The 331 Saar (Saar 3) entry seems to have an error. The 76mm Oto Melara is putting towards the stern when according the photo then it should be facing the bow.
