Union has problems reinforcing in the rough terrain of Virginia. Units adjacent to the battle are unable to reinforce. Is there a secret to West Virginia?

The rough terrain in West Virginia and Virginia seem to inhibit reinforcements for the defenders during attacks. Anyone got a good defense for the Union in this area? Any discussion on the terrain. Regards.

If you did not resolve your problem, I found I had no problem with Windows 10 or 11. My solution to your problem is delete the original installation. Then reinstall. Then download Update v1.040. Then restart. Should work fine.

I have the same problem. Cannot utilize the update and cannot save pbm games. It also says I need the old update 1.040 before I can use latest update.
