Is there a way to quickly merge 2 fleets into 1 ?

I don't see anything other than removing the ships one by one and adding them to the other fleet one by one.

I generally think there are too many ships in the game and that the cost for maintaining huge fleets should be at least triple what they are. Is there a way I can adjust maintenance costs for ships globally for all races, and would that effectively limit the overall number of ships that can ...

Disable automatic base building in policy settings or if you leave it on auto set priority for defensive bases to 0


As I said originally, that doesn't solve the problem. Even if you set priority for defensive bases to 0, there is a bug where they will be built in an endless loop at certain ...

Ok,

Just Added the Atuuk and Wekkaru's new DLC and the patch notes specifically talk about fixing this.
Seems to work now, but should have been a fix/patch available for people who didn't buy that DLC since it cripples the game.

At a specific Planet, the A.I. is queuing up about Defensive Bases and Orbital Platforms. Right now,
I just noticed it and it has 55 of them in one spot, and building more.
I delete them from the queue, and the A.I. just adds them right back.

There are policies for the target population on colonies when small/med/large spaceports should be built.... There are also settings to prioritize different base types.

If you set the fuel tanker to manual within a manual fleet it will not follow the fleet, you have to tell them what to do manually. This is so that you manually can decide when they go fill up their cargo with fuel or mine for fuel. It would be difficult for the game to know if the tanker are ...

One of the main missing pieces from the game is a simple FOB design (Forward Operating Base). Thank you very much. Yea, I let it sit there for hours and it just never finishes one ship, so it's a bug. Glad they are fixing it.

Retire ship clogs up Spaceport

If I send a few ships I captured to "Retire at spaceport xxx", they head there and the spaceport seems to completely clog up on them. No more ships are produced from the space port and the build queue just stacks way up.
The 'clogged' ship appears with a RED background and appears to stay that way ...

If there are 10 derelicts, you now have to match up what you see on the view screen with what's in the exploration list and it's not so easy compared to just right clicking a derelict and saying "queue..." Seems like a negative compared to DWU.
