I'm already in a game now, but I could play a second one I guess. Do you want to set something up?

Re: GC41: Kamil (Ger) vs Dodo98 (Sov)

Please don't quit Wite 2 after our game :D
You are a good player, keeping me constantly under pressure and forcing me to adjust my strategy constantly. Your hard push toward the Donets Basin definitely surprised me a bit. And your early capture of those cities will have an impact on my production ...

Re: Looking for opponent (CLOSED)

Okay, then let's give the morale modifiers a try. Another important question is whether you'd like to play with the standard victory conditions or with the “No Early End” option? And should we play via PBEM or as a server game?

Re: Looking for opponent (CLOSED)

I agree with most of the rules, however, I would like to use enhanced TB control. And can you tell me your experience with using those late war morale modifiers? Have not used them before.

Hi

I am already playing one game i can potentially make 2 moves a week.

Sorry I missed your answer when you posted it and by that time I had already found an opponent. But he has resigned, so my challenge is online once again. I'd be happy if you would like to play. 2 Moves per ...

Okay, so my opponent unexpectedly gave up very early. So my challenge is up again. Please only respond if you're genuinely interested in playing a longer campaign.

Looking for an Axis Opponent GC 1941

I'd like to play the GC 1941 as the Soviets. I've played both sides a couple of times against the AI but never in MP. One Rule that I require is to disallow Temporary Motorization. Other than that Game Options can be discussed.

We expect WIS to release on or about 23 minutes from now. Our Video Team has video primed and ready for the release !

Re: still no videos?

I completely agree with you! I don't want to be too critical either, because I love these games and I want this game to be successful. And I don't want to criticize the development team, who are not to blame for the poor PR. But unfortunately, the publisher Matrix Games really does deserve criticism ...

Re: War in Spain: engine choice makes sense — but I worry the theater choice may hurt the wrong conclusion

Personally, I'm very happy that we're getting to see a conflict other than World War II for a change. Most of the battles of World War II are already very well represented in countless games.

Of course, there are battles such as Norway or Crete that have not been covered very often, but I think the ...

Re: Beta Test

I wouldn't dare to say I'm an expert, it is not easy as a non spanish speaker to find good information, especially primary sources, but as far as I was able to I've informed myself quite a bit about this war.

Okay thank you! That is a bit longer than I had hoped but no problem. I'm just really curious to test this game. Ever since the game Espana 1936 I've been hooked by this conflict.

Beta Test

How long does it usually take to be accepted into the Beta? I'm really excited for this game, for me the Spanish Civil War is one of the most interesting conflicts in the last 100 years. And this project appears to be the most promising game about this topic I've ever seen.

Thanks, so there is no hidden system like with the bomb groups, where a higher altitude leads to more inaccurate strikes. Good to know.

Altitude Effect on Recon

I'm coming back to this game after a few years of pause. While I'm planning my recon missions I was wondering whether the altitude of the recon plane has any effect on the outcome of the mission? I know that if you set the altitude below 500 feet you fly under the radar, which has a lot of benefits ...
