Re: [Q] Missiles without targets

Hi

Perhaps there should be self-destruct. It would avoid ridiculous situations (missiles going backwards and constantly changing direction or flying ridiculously far) like those seen in this attached scenario with the SM-3 and Arrow 3. Furthermore, it would surely improve performance with fewer ...

Re: Show of hands: keep or remove "quick access" doctrine settings on right column?

I do use it regularly for quick and fine adjustments and I use it continuously to quickly see what doctrine each unit is configured with.

On the other hand, as with other elements (such as "unit alt/speed") that I don't use, it's as easy as collapsing the tab if you don't use it.

Re: CMO RUNNING POLL - Gameplay feature requests

Hi,
I would love it if in the missions-> Tanker config section, I could limit my mission aircraft to XX number of refuellings. I may wish one mission unlimited, another 1 and another 3 or 4. As it is, it's either can refuel or can't and if it can, they seem to do so eternally.

Thanks,
John ...

Re: Valid targets for #72 - GBU-32(V)2/B JDAM [Mk83]?

As you say, it is possible to launch a GPS-guided bomb at a mobile target as long as it is not moving (you launch at certain coordinates). If the target were to move, you would obviously fail for sure.

Re: [1527] CEC Testing

The CEC feature has not been working properly for a long time.
Although in this particular scenario it doesn't affect much since none of the units you mention are CEC-capable it is worth taking into account.

Re: [WAD] Unable to intercept

Thewood, the first thing before answering a post where a specific problem is exposed is to download the scenario and test it.
Otherwise it is very difficult to understand what I am explaining, you spend your days asking people to attach the scenario so you can understand what is happening and when ...

Re: [WAD] Unable to intercept

Maybe I haven't explained myself well.

I know perfectly well that the ship is in "weapons hold" it is configured that way on purpose to be able to highlight the problem.

My point is that there is only a very short window to fire the ASBM both manually and automatically after which it is not ...

Unable to intercept

In the attached a Fateh ASBM is attacking a DDG and if you follow the course of action you can see that you only have a small window of a few seconds to fire a missile at it, then as it is approaching the DDG if you try to fire a missile at it the message "Unable to intercept" appears in the firing ...

Re: Refuel threshold

Hi Kobu, we're aware of this issue. Its in the queue to get fixed along with an overhaul of AAR in general.

Thanks!

Thanks for the information.

IMO, the problem with that logic is that your tanker may not have enough fuel to reach the tanker with a 30% threshold. IMO the threshold should be ...

Bingo group

In the attachment it is observed that when the wingman reaches bingo alone the wingman returns to base, the leader continues and when he enters bingo he continues until he crashes due to lack of fuel.

Refuel threshold

The majority of complaints about air refueling that I agree with is the threshold at which fighters head to refuel whether they are on a mission or not.
The problem is that for a 30% threshold fighters do not start heading to refuel when their fuel is at 30% but before, reaching the tanker ...

Re: Attacking moving ships

My thoughts...

At one time this was explained that its an abstraction because the hit calc for unguided munitions is done at launch so the outcome is set no matter where the target ends up. The unit was dead before it moved. The movement is just a legacy of the abstraction. IIRC.

If so, it ...

Attacking moving ships

Hi

I have seen this bug with several weapons, in this case I give the example of HIMARS but it happens with others too.
The problem is that certain weapons like the HIMARS when they attack moving ships have a precision that they should not, that is, they always hit the ship.

The projectiles fired ...

[FIXED]Weapon allocation

Hi

In the weapon allocation tab when a missile is not capable of being launched against another due to its speed instead of this reason (In other versions it did give the correct reason.) it says "other"

Re: Refuel problems (RTB)

Another, fourth example.

Tanker "Ala 31 #1" heading to refuel from the tanker "Ala 31 #2" despite the fact that the latter has in doctrine not to refuel any aircraft.

I know.

As we all know in this forum, you post whenever you want, but just because you can doesn't always mean you should, as in this case or in many others.
