Re: Hardware for max performance in large scenarios?

Some personal experience:

1. Multiple socketed Xeon rigs won't help, even with good single core performance and lots of RAMs (Tried with 2x Xeon Broadwells and Skylake-SPs, both with 128G ram). Inter-socket memory laterncy kills.

Maybe Pro version would be better suited on such kind of machines ...

Re: CMO v1.09 Build 1852 (Public Beta)

I hope the new laser modeling would be an on-off option in scenario settings, as scenarios built with older databases won't have proper laser power data in the database.

Still having some difficulty to finish the stress test (or reliever to me)

At AU count of 6.8k and about 2k airborn missiles (including hundreds of missed ABM missiles, some 500 shahed drones, and an intercept team just start shooting AAAMs at them), CMO give me this:

22-04-2026 10:53:26 -- Bv1.09 RC - Build 1825.11 -- Array dimensions exceeded supported range. -- Scen ...

[1662] Aircraft doesn't loiter after winchester and RoE sets to no RTB

How to reproduce: Run the attached scenaio and observe the only F-35.

Expected behaviour: the F-35 will loiter after all Meteor missiles were spent.

Last version with expected behaviour: 1567.06. 1645 has more serious problem with RTB rules but partly solved by 1662.

Re: CMO - v1.08 PUBLIC BETA - Brand NEW Features

This is great! Looks good so far, but one question regarding this:

* NEW FEATURE: Communications jamming (previously only in CPE, excluding scripting) is now also available in CMO. (See original article on comms disruption & effects: https://command.matrixgames.com/?p=4454)

Can you elaborate ...

Re: CMO RUNNING POLL - Gameplay feature requests

I hope to have these two QoL features.

1. optional black or dark on light color scheme (the traditional "Microsoft Gray")

2. customization of hotkeys, or optional disabling of certain hotkeys.

I play CMO on an old laptop, via VNC or running on it. As I do most of my reading on my laptop, my ...

Re: Command: MO - Fail Safe out February 25th

Will this come with an update to 1544? I just brute force 1544 with VMware on my old systems and it runs good enough, but with some little problems I would like to have them fixed as indicated in the tech support.

Re: Benchmarking CPU's in Command Modern Operations

Finally I answered my own question: what if I run CMO on a $200 old server?

This sucker have two sockets and all filled with same kind of CPU.

For comparation, my SFF 9700 box runs this at about 0.8x.

Re: CMO RUNNING POLL - Gameplay feature requests

As I'm sticking with Windows 10 1607 and will not update in the foreseeable future (meaning I'm somewhat with older build of Command now) and only would deploy linux on newer real hardware, I hope there's plan for a linux build or a version could be run on linux in the same foreseeable future.

Re: Map rendering issue with 1405 steam public beta

Damn, I just discovered that I didn't enable the error log in steam copy (I have a offline license and always play with it). Here's the most recent logs.

It seems I may really have some driver issue or something like that, but I really don't dare to do any major update to anything now.

Well, 1328 ...

Re: Map rendering issue with 1405 steam public beta

The same system runs 1328.9 and later in the 1328 branch (to the 18) good, maybe some update on map drawing procedures breaks it?

And sorry for not stating the Windows build in the original post, I though the dxdiag is enough.

Map rendering issue with 1405 steam public beta

...or my day with CMO new versions was ended because I don't want to update my Windows OS (Windows 10 1607) to any newer version. (some applications depends on it)

After downloading the new beta from steam (and installed Edge WebView2), I start CMO and didn't have a normal map render in the main ...

Re: 1328.14/15 - Units Not Engaging Correctly

Did check, same behavior.

I think the issue may related to the new rocket launch mechanism? or launcher need to wait for OODA delay to finish each round? (but zero OODA units and mounts seems affected too) just my one cent.
