Fundamentally, the issue is that if resource scarcity isn't a meaningful aspect of the game, then the entire civilian economy of individual freighters and mining stations is basically meaningless. When I try and sell people on this game, I mention how there's so many resources types and that each resource is used in different amounts for each component, and that the cost is dependent on the resource cost. So it's a possibility to wage economic warfare by targeting resources that your ...

What I have noticed with the automation, while having in on suggest mode, is that it does not attack the "system", but units. So it will see that one monsters and compared that to the fleet, if that is fine it will attack the whole 8k blob of them with a 1k fleet.

I hope this can get looked into, I think it's also making my raid fleets just attack the main attack fleets of the enemy instead of actually raiding and picking of mines/resorts etc.

The automation are sending and or suggesting based on settings to suicide into a vordikar that is over quadruple their strength.

I can't even manually command them to attack the Voracta system in this screenshot because it says I have no fleet strong enough, yet the automation popup on the right ...

I would love to have an automation setting where you can choose when and if to repair and refuel, you can do this for manual fleets, but id would be nice for automation fleet. I'd rather use tankers to keep them topped and never manually fly to a refuel station.

I"d like to add to this, I find fighters/bombs completely useless, they die instantly to a single PD as stated.

I've also noticed that if you set neutral on ships, and they have a PD it will try to close into PD distance,
so when I tried to make a missile boat, that had a few pd's those missile ...

For some reason the automation requests a absurd amount of caslon at every mining facility, I've had caslon mining facilities where it would request almost it's entire cargo size, I've had to go through ever mine and manually set requested caslon to 500, and it helped allot.

In the attached save command the destroyer "Potent Demolisher" to refuel at the planet. The 3 pirate characters I looted will vanish.

Passenger ships are stuck in a loop between main planet and secondary planet, Ships loaded up passengers, and then go from the home planet, to the drop off planet, they don't actually drop off the passengers, they just receive a new command to go pick up passengers despite being already full.

Is it just me or do fuel tankers seem to endlessly chase automated ships and civilian freighters?

I've noticed that sometimes the target ship will get a command saying "Waiting on refueling" but after a brief time period will seemingly forget this command and go about delivering freight, meanwhile ...

What determines when a mining station stops mining a specific resource?

I have a mining station that is mining caslon and krypton, 100% and 41% abundance respectively.
IThis mining station has 1 cargo bay, it says it's cargo capacity is 4800, but I have gotten up at 8k caslon and 3.2k krypton and it may go higher but ships keep taking it off to places.

No, one location was a planet that was not explored. I had to manually assign a explorer to explore it.

Can anyone offer any insight into why this is the case?
I have skip drivers, plenty of fuel. Not sure why they are idle where there are allot of locations left to explore in my home system.
