Well, changing the drive seems to have done it. I first re-installed it on my D: drive, thinking I probably just had a corrupted patch install, and got the same results. Uninstalled again and re-installed on the default path (C:\Program Files(x86)\Matrix Games\...) and it works. Go figure. Thanks ...

I applied the v1.2 update this morning. Since then, the program hangs when loading the scenario. It never loads the scenario, but just displays the user interface with a black screen where the map should be that says "Loading...". Doesn't seem to matter which scenario is selected.
