RE: I Got Robbed, where are all the Scenarios?

ORIGINAL: ballyhoo

And why does the music not turn off? There is a drop down button, but no matter how I select it, does not go away - that bloody musac!

Don't know. Mine went away with "No Background Sound."

RE: I Got Robbed, where are all the Scenarios?

<r> I agree, maybe they should make a note of that on the product page, like World In Flames, that some/many of the scenarios are 2-player only. But, I agree with Mr meyer1, there is enough SP to keep one busy for a while. PBEM will be heating up soon, I'm sure. Yes, I'm an introvert and prefer ...

RE: I Got Robbed, where are all the Scenarios?

You are only seeing what is in the Tutorial directory. Use the "set default directory" button. Happened to me too ;-)

RE: The Operational Art of War IV Scenarios List

Yeah, I thought the same. When you are in the menu with the three scenarios, just change the default directory to the era you are looking for.

<t> I plan to. However, Ive got a few things to do before I take the plunge:<br/>
<br/>
1. Upgrade the computer - Havent even slicked the hard drive since 2004. Some of the games I have bought but have not played (due to WITP) have sys requirements way above what I have now.<br/>

Victory!

<t> Well, I won! January 1 1945. I played the Allies vs a very hard AI. I had been playing since the game came out and after a number of restarts due to patches, I ended up playing about 18 days per week, with time out due to TAD and visiting my girlfriend. <br/>
<br/>
The turning point, IMO, was ...

<t> I know how everyone feels. I started cruising the Matrix games forums when they redid Steel Panthers, a favorite of mine. I had been playing WIP since 1992 when I got my first PC. SP came out when I was in Okinawa and I picked it up immediately because Grisby was the designer. When I found out ...

You were lucky. We lived for three months in a paper bag in a septic tank. We used to have to get up at six in the morning, clean the paper bag, eat a crust of stale bread, go to work down t' mill, fourteen hours a day, week-in week-out, for sixpence a week, and when we ...

<t> Im in 7/44 right now (started the Grand Campaign as Allies at 12/41 vs AI). I marched the Chinese units to Lashio, took it. The main Japanese force in Burma tried to push into India, and left most of the Burma bases undefended. The Japanese forces were wiped out except the 55th Inf Div, which ...

RE: More trouble with CVE squadrons

<t> My problem is that, I have 3 VR type CVE's sitting inport PH, with no fighters in the squadrons. They are not receiving replacements. There is plenty of supply and plenty of HQ units in the hex. They have been there for over a month with no movement. I have no clue what is going on.<br/>

RE: Question about ENG LCU's and LCI/LCT's

<t> One would think that the ENG squads and support would load onto the LCI's, but Im probably just fooling my self.<br/>
<br/>
The next project (while invading a few places) is to see how many LCT's it takes to load those clowns and how many LCI's it takes to load various battalion-sized INF ...
