Is the damage to oil and resources random when you capture them? Or are there things that you can do to limit the damage?

Seems like a lot of time would be wasted playing to find palemberg totally trashed and needing 2 years of repairs.

Maybe what Japan needs is a switch on an airgroup that says draw trained pilots or draw untrained pilots.

The other option would be the ability to transfer elite pilots to specific units such as carrier duty.

Along this same lines -

I have Kates on Naval attack at a base where I put the other Bombers to bomb singapores airfield. The kates always tag along and get shot up. Had to move them to a different base.

For example Kates attacking pearl harbor use 800Kg bombs if you are at 2 hexes but smaller bombs if at the outer 5 hex range.

Armaments get stockpiled as specific weapons. Is there any way to tell or affect what gets built other than just increasing overall production?

Do weapons get stockpiled to a particular level and the ones below this level get built at a higher priority?
