RE: Solution to Fuzzy Screens on LCDs for any game

Also, this works best for 1024x768, and you may get a really small display area depending on your LCD native resoltuion. I am useing a 30'' inch Apple display, and 1024x768 almost fills the whole screen.

RE: Solution to Fuzzy Screens on LCDs for any game

I should mention that this applies to when you want to run in fullscreen mode in a game that your LCD native resolution forces scaling.

<t> Larry Bond is a former Naval Officer and the creator of the Harpoon pen and paper rule set. He and Tom gamed out the action sequences in Hunt for Red October. RE: Has anyone Played the EU in End of a Union?

<t> Thanks all! I am going to try the strategies laid out here. I think I was trying to defend too much at first. Better to give up Spain and the Balkans on the outset I think, and establish a defensive line in favorable terain, and pound with air and gun tubes from the rear. And Production ...

Has anyone Played the EU in End of a Union?

Yeah I'm getting swarmed by the Russians and the Muslims. AI is on normal. Has anyone won as UN? If so tell me your strategy (please).

(If you have tried it yet, give it a go. Quite challenging.)

RE: Can you link Maps Victor?

<t> Hi,<br/>
<br/>
Just a thought; The 'areas' could all be on the same 'map', if you could have a non-map or null 'terain' that you can not move a unit through (or some sort of border), and there was some way to transport the units to the different areas (like a strategic move). You would just ...

Can you link Maps Victor?

Hi,

Could I have more than one map in a scenario? Think Masters of Magic, or Heroes of Might and Magic, where certain locations or spells transport you to an additional map, like the Underworld, or a Space map.

Thanks,

You said in a post;

"I agree, Elliott. I was thinking of redoing one of my Warlords II Deluxe scenarios once I saw what the editor could do."

I nominate you!

Nice Victor. That is very useful information. The keys are very close, so I think this addresses my issue well enough. Shame on me if it's in the manual (I have been too busy playing).

<t> Thanks for the response Victor. <br/>

I understand from a programing standpoint it may not be practical, but if it were optional, I would choose to watch it. Reason? I will watch the replay anyway, so I am not saving any time there, and even if it wastes time by giving the AI less cycles ...
