Re: Nazi Germany's Biggest Mistakes That Lost WWII

They needed oil and they needed it yesterday. They should have turned east first.

Am I going mad?

I'm trying to find this game on the store pages - and I can't. I've searched under Attack at Dawn... and Desert war - but neither finds a match. Even searching the whole store A-Z doesn't find it.

The Scrooge: A Christmas Carol version with the incomparable Alastair Sim was on over the weekend. Christmas has officially begun and I'm in the holiday mood.

RE: NATO vs Warsaw Pact Strategic Level Game

Norm Koger's Red Lightning was one of my favourites back in the late 80s/early 90s. I remember taking my new wife down to London on an early second honeymoon and stopping off at the Virgin Megastore to pick this up.

We may have to start carding people who come onto this board: If you're not at least 60, bye!

I'll have to duck out for a fortnight or so then. I'll be back.

BattleAxe

Morning, all.

I've searched high and low but I can't find a dedicated Operation Battleaxe scenario. Does anyone know whether such a thing exists?

RE: Range increments don't match map scale

<t> Counting ranges from 'front' of the attacker's hex to 'front' of the defender's hex is just about defensible, but what happens when a hex is attacked from opposite directions? Where in the hex is the defender? <br/>
<br/>
Centre of attacker's hex to centre of defender's hex makes more sense ...

RE: 15 years!!

It'll be 14 years at the end of this month for me. And only a couple of hundred posts in all that time - but every one a polished gem!

First games were Uncommon ValoUr, COTA and Flashpoint Germany. Still have them all and play them from time to time, especially UV.

It's The OPERATIONAL Art of War. Production doesn't figure in operations.

It's a good idea, though - a strategic version of TOAOW.

Having read through some of the responses on the original thread, I can see now why it was considered 'political' and locked.

Am I able to lock this thread myself?
