Hi Wargamers!

I would like to share my latest article on becoming a better wargamer by applying some simple principles from the conventional military to our wargames.

Thanks for the great game.

So far I put it at the same level as Combat Mission in terms of simulation and nuance. I can see why you have military aorund the world using your software for training.

Thank you! Love the game, but I'm an incompetent officer. This helps.

Max, thanks.
I specifically appreciate your efforts to create and capture some great screen shots from the game. Well done.

Your 'Arrows! Arrows! Arrows!' caption made me smile.

Max love your website and articles.
However, I looked at your article for top '10 Computer Wargames' and you mention Graviteam Tactics as 'Russian developers'. - I understand they are Ukrainian. I dont think I need to elaborate any further.

No one is incompetent, I am also fairly bad at wargames if I am honest but I always try to find ways to improve.

I actually was not sure what to put in the caption so I inserted the most obvious

You're right, I am not sure how I got that wrong but I'll correct it right away. On a side note, I wish more people would buy their numerous DLCs to support the devs! It's amazing they are still churning out DLCs even in a middle of an actual invasion!

Great article!
It's useful for players who was frustrated by complex wargame system and huge scenarios

I too always struggle with wargames but still love them to bits.

Good article, maybe the generals in the pentagon should read it and not their current woke reading list
