Hi, Just downloaded and installed Campaign Series:Vietnam and im finding much of the UI is displayed as a white screen. Any ideas how to fix this?
Pretty frustrating as I love the John Tiller games but have only played the WDS titles, pretty keen to give the Legion releases a go!

Well that is a new one! I haven't seen that before.
Where are you installing it?
Can you post your log files by any chance?

Thanks for getting back to me.
The games installed to the main drive C: if thats what you mean. Apologies, im not massively computer literate but can find most things given time.
I believe these are the log files and a save game file to help demonstrate the issue.

I loaded your save file, and all is good.
That means it's not the files, now need to figure out what is happening on your system.

Do you have other processes running in the background?
Antivirus?

Just tried it with anti virus turned off and the same result. Task manager shows a whole range of backround processes, is there something im looking for in particular?

overlay software can be somewhat of a pain to some games, the cleaner the start up, the better tbh
and install and run as admin sets admin permissions if you've installed to a default installation.

Program is being ran as administrator and installed as far as im aware. I may be mis-understanding what you mean though.
Im experiencing the same issue with map editor if that helps at all.

I found this in another thread that might be helpful
This is for a different game, but do you by chance have Nvidia graphics card? (Substitiute the Dark Souls with ME.exe)
1) Right-click on your desktop, then open NVIDIA Control Panel
2) Head to "Manage 3D Settings" > Program Settings > Select Dark Souls (darksouls.exe), or add it if it isn't there.
3) Select the preferred graphics processor for the program: "Integrated Graphics"
Then the game launches properly.
4) In the menu PC Settings, change it to Fullscreen and select your resolution
5) Quit the game
Open NVIDIA Control Panel again and this time select High-performance NVIDIA Processor and you're done.
Enjoy 1080p goodness!
Otherwise, are you on discord? I might be able to help you there.

A couple more posts for JTCS that might help.
1. right click desktop
2. select personalize
3. choose themes
4. under the theme drop down box choose "windows classic"
5. click apply
6. wait till it switches then get in game.
OR
Control Panel -> Appearance and Personalization -> Adjust Screen resolution -> Colours
Set to Medium (16-bit) instead of High (32-bit)

Sorry about your troubles, I have not seen that either. I would suggest filing a support ticket with Matrix Games, they are really good with HW config issues.
Your game save seems to be ok, and I can't spot anything suspect from your log files either. Notably, the error.log is not there, so the game has not thrown any errors.
Do keep posting here, we have a good crowd here with all kind of hardware, often someone has seen perhaps a similar issue and has been able to solve it.
Again, I'd suggest a support ticket.

Thanks guys, Ive tried these suggestions to the best of my abilities. Im running integrated intel Arc so no nvidea options I think...
Just tried running the game on an external monitor and experienced a weird bug. The UI is snapshotting the image on screen, with the box... Ill copy a screenshot in below to demonstrate what I mean.
Guess Ill get in touch with Matrix and see if they can help.

Thanks Jason, tried this early days but no luck there. I notice the logs bring up a number of missing files, is this anything?

Sorry to hear you’re still having issues. Nope, that is a false positive, there is a ton of files that could be available in theory, but are not in practise. Case in point this one for Nation ID 81.

No worries, my knowledge of computers etc is pretty light! Thanks

Just to be certain on Jason’s post re settings: have you tried setting Display Fullscreen Optimization off as well?
Ie. by ticking the Disable box ON.

Yeah tried on and off, also in conjunction with a load of other settings as well.
I cannot change there colours from 32bit-high to 16bit-medium though, there is not option for it including in the list of modes in adaptor properties...
