Compared to original game?

I have the first version of the game. Just curious on how much of a difference this game has on war in the east 1. I no longer have one on the hard drive so not sure if it’s worth the price or time. What do you guys like about this version?

WITE 01 was good. WITE 02 is an excellent game if you are willing to put the time and effort into it.

I lost my life again upon release of WITE2. Wife tells me I play too much. I have rarely seen the light of day. I have to take Bayer aspirin for my eye strain & headaches. I had to buy a bigger cushion for my chair sitting in the chair too long. I had to purchase Ben-gay for my muscle pain in my hand from mouse clicks. I am getting thicker in the mid-section from ordering too many pizza's. Other than that the game is GREAT!

* Ground war is pretty similar but on a larger map with more hexes.
* Air war is the same in essence but different mechanic.
