I've already beaten impossible difficulty AI with the same tactics,
Target for the first year: Leningrad
Overall tactics:
1. Weaken the Central Army Group and strengthen the south and north.
give up the rapid capture of Smolensk. stop to refuel near Orsha, and split Central armour turned north to join the siege of Leningrad.
2. In the game, the German army is very strong in the protracted war, and does not need to fear the long-term war vs AI (even the impossible difficulty).
Most weakened troops can be quickly restored to full combat strength by returning to the rear BOX.
Armored units should be used as little as possible as combat units to save tanks.
3. In early campaigns, armored units stop and refuel in rotation, don't overuse their supplies all at once
If not necessary, the infantry should also stand still and use railway maneuvers as much as possible, so that a well-formed infantry division maintains the same very strong fighting capability as it did in the first round
4. Dig the trenches some time before winter sets in. The Soviets will be completely unable to break the dug trenches

Half of the Southern Army Group's panzers continued to rest, and half made pincer attacks in three openings, encircling most of the Soviet forces in the plain
An infantry commander of Army Group Central, near Orsha, was killed
The siege force, 150,000 men in all, reached the walls of Odessa, took the city at the cost of 3,000 men
The infantry of Army Group Central and Army Group South were responsible for tearing open the lines,
Then the armored forces launched two small encirclement at the same time (basically, armored divisions did not fight, only march. Infantry division in charge of combat)
Reinforced new infantry divisions moved to the Western Front in exchange for two new armored divisions

Round 8 (August 10, 1941)

- 9.jpg (3.51 MiB) Viewed 3079 times
Army Group North is getting closer to its final goal, reaching the outskirts of Leningrad a month and a half earlier than ever before
The railroad was almost under the city, and the infantry was ready to attack Leningrad
In all directions, the Germans had a 2:1 to 6:1 advantage in numbers.
The Soviet army was simply more unit, and its total number on the battlefield was actually much much lower than the Germans
And Smolensk, captured more than three weeks later than in history
At August 10, 1941
The German army had a total strength of 4.4 million (including vassal nations) and suffered 180,000 losses
The Soviet army had a total strength of 2.3 million and lost 2.7 million

Round 10 (August 24, 1941)

- 10.jpg (3.42 MiB) Viewed 3078 times

- 11.jpg (3.28 MiB) Viewed 3078 times
The central and Southern Army Groups, in the plains, used most of their armor to encircle a wide area
The Soviets lost more than 600,000 men that week. They encircled and trapped a total of 700,000 Soviet troops. Their total strength was reduced to 1.6 million.
This gives the Germans a 6 to 1 numerical advantage on most fronts, especially in the plains where the Soviets are unable to defend against the Germans' superior quantity plus quality

Two hundred thousand German troops have attacked and captured Leningrad, freeing Army Group North to move in other directions
Some of the troops, who had been resting in place, were moved by railroad to the front line. These troops were in good condition
Many troops have already begun digging their winter lines in preparation for winter

Round 18 (October 19, 1941)

- 14.jpg (3.74 MiB) Viewed 3077 times
North and South throughout the muddy period, the German annihilated the encirclement of the Soviet army and retreated to the winter line
Round 21 (November 9, 1941)

- 15.jpg (3.67 MiB) Viewed 3077 times

- 16.jpg (3.39 MiB) Viewed 3077 times
There was no major shift in the battle lines
Five panzer armies were herded to Rostov and moved on to Baku, the final objective
The losses of the previous months had made it difficult for the Soviets to muster enough troops for a winter attack, and they were outnumbered,
The Soviets counterattack with these inferior numbers and often get hit head-on by the Germans and destroy entire divisions, or get outflanked and eaten

Round 24 (November 30, 1941)

- 17.jpg (2.6 MiB) Viewed 3077 times

- 18.jpg (131.56 KiB) Viewed 3077 times
All winter there had been no serious fighting in any other direction. Because the Soviets were short of men in the south, a large part of the south-central area was manned by Hungarians and Romanians, but the Soviets had made no major offensive in that direction.
This small number of Hungarian and Romanian troops, who had not been rested in rotation, held this line for a very long time until December, when they began to be pushed back
Round 26 (December 14, 1941)

- 19.jpg (3.03 MiB) Viewed 3077 times

- 20.jpg (3.82 MiB) Viewed 3077 times
In a coordinated attack on the southern front, just before the extreme cold of December, the Germans finish more than 400,000 Soviet troops, reducing their numbers to just 2 million
Some troops were completely incapacitated by the cold and were forced to move back to the rear, mainly on the southern front. Other troops held up well in the garrison areas, and small tentative Soviet attacks had little effect

Round 29 (4 January 1942)

- 21.jpg (2.5 MiB) Viewed 3076 times

- 22.jpg (140.67 KiB) Viewed 3076 times
New year
The Germans continue to attack Baku, and on other fronts they are fighting small counter-attacks against their back against winter fortifies, a series of small encirclement battles with infantry, whose quality is so good that they can still travel long distances in enemy territory that they can encircle some overextended Soviet forces in one round, kill them off in the second week and then fall back to the defend line
Because of the cold, most of the German tanks were damaged, and the tanks were deployed as filling lines in the fortifications
Round 31 (18 January 1942)

- 23.jpg (3.82 MiB) Viewed 3076 times
The cold had passed, and the Germans were beginning to recover
The Germans (including the Germans) have so far suffered over 600,000 casualties, mainly from the infantry responsible for the attack. On the eastern front, 4 million were deployed, soon to be joined by 10-15 new infantry divisions.
The Soviets lost 6.3 million.Only 2.2 million on the eastern front.
There was a good chance of capturing Baku in 1942. Then the main force would turn to the plain near Stalingrad, build the railway to Stalingrad, and then push north from Stalingrad without using the main force to attack Moscow
The AI will constantly try to group in front of German trenches. All the player has to do is stay in the trenches and keep knocking them down, preventing the Soviet AI from gathering and inflicting massive casualties

Round 34 (8 February 1942)

- 24.jpg (4.03 MiB) Viewed 3076 times
As a result of the capture of Leningrad, the Finnish reinforced three infantry divisions for the front battlefield
Moreover, the German infantry was very strong even in the winter, and attacking these heavily depleted Soviet divisions often resulted in very heavy casualties
Round 36 (22 February 1942)

- 25.jpg (3.88 MiB) Viewed 3076 times

- 26.jpg (3.36 MiB) Viewed 3076 times
As the winter drew to a close the Germans recovered their fighting strength, and the worst division, which had dropped from 16,000 to 6,000, was quickly replenished back in the rear BOX
Total Soviet losses approached seven million

Round 45 (26 April 1942)

- 29.jpg (3.65 MiB) Viewed 3075 times
The Germans easily captured Baku just in time for the spring mud season, and the winter of 1941 ended successfully, achieving their annual goal
The Soviets would still have only about 2-2.2 million frontal battlefields, and the disadvantage would be greater than in 1941

The central and southern parts of the Soviet Union were cleared of mud, and you could see that the Soviets were badly short of troops,
The Germans easily routed some Soviet troops and then surrounded the Soviets in the center,
In the south, the infantry was concentrated to defeat the Soviet army in the direction of Stalingrad
The armor was in perfect fighting condition,They serve as reserves and mobile forces.
Most of the fighting is still done by infantry

In the position of the Central Army there was a very large number of armoured units, ready to go.
In the winter, they stopped because the railway maintenance troops were focused on repairing the roads to Baku,
In the summer, with the capture of Stalingrad, the railway forces could shift to the centre, keeping all fighting forces within supply range
Gorky and Kazan can be reached within a month or two.
In these plains, the Germans can defeat very large numbers of Soviet troops with very little cost.
In the North, a large number of infantry divisions could stay safely in Level 3 trenches, wiping out Soviet infantry divisions at the cost of dozens of men per battle
