Noobie Help

I have played thru some of the small scenarios, but when it comes to the large ones or the grand campaign, I feel overwhelmed and confused as to how to proceed. Good feel for all the mechanics.

Looking for advice, not so much tactics, but help with the planning aspect...like bite size pieces of advise when linked together will help me get a handle on how to tie together the numerous units on multiple "fronts"...ie a coordinated feel/perspective on how to proceed.

TXS

I just do one division at a time from one end of the map to the other. Yes the Campaign is big but I like to do a methodical approach or it will be overwhelming and easy to miss some units too.

Yup. That's what I do too.

I'll go North -South, then South-North, then look for units moving behind the line to make sure they are not forgotten. You can maintain an overall strategy while doing this. A pad and pen for notes to yourself to remember things is helpful.

Maintain command / unit cohesion, and you'll find yourselve moving divisions within a corps' defined area as part of an overall strategy in no time.

Just take your time. If I find myself distracted or rushed while playing I save my turn and come back to it when I can focus

I started going division by division from the top to the bottom of the map. That method revealed some supply and command issues between the Division and CORPS. Now, I'm using the OOB tab and going CORPS by CORPS. This has helped me keeping CORPS and Division in alignment for supply and command issues with each other. This, along with assigning a certain color to each CORPS, has helped me keep my advances or defenses tidy.
